  1. Soak the rice in 3 cups of water for 1/2 hour. Bring the milk to the boil and simmer for 1/2 hour or until it is reduced by half.
  2. Grind the soaked rice and water, and add to the milk along with the sugar. Mix continuously. Cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove from stove. Pour in a serving bowl, garnish with almonds and pistachios and carefully place the silver leaf on top. Chill well.
