- Soak the rice in 3 cups of water for 1/2 hour. Bring the milk to the boil and simmer for 1/2 hour or until it is reduced by half.
- Grind the soaked rice and water, and add to the milk along with the sugar. Mix continuously. Cook for 20 minutes.
- Remove from stove. Pour in a serving bowl, garnish with almonds and pistachios and carefully place the silver leaf on top. Chill well.
